christmas past

Five years ago today my family was in London visiting my sister who studied in Oxford for Christmas and New Years.

We had Christmas Eve dinner at a Moroccan restaurant after a long day of visiting the Tower of London and a late afternoon service at Westminister.

On Christmas morning, we had our traditional Christmas breakfast on the hotel room floor: coffee, orange juice, cinnamon rolls  and sausage balls (both homemade and transported from North Carolina by my mother–the original frugal gourmet).
