A group came over to try St Paul Vineyards freshly bottled wines. It was an impromptu event.
I liked the Cabernet Sauvignon blend and the Betty Jean Chardonnay. For the food -I put together some small appetizers: crostini with prosciutto, fresh mozzarella tomatoes and basil from the garden, a puff pastry with soft goat cheese, fresh rosemary and heirloom tomato slices, and thick slices of the Highland Mocha Stout cake I made on Sunday. Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday evening.
